Jazzed for St. Patty’s Day and my son’s birthday today…but also jazzed about the upcoming PD tomorrow, the awesome projects coming to fruition in my classroom, and the promise of technology transforming learning.
Today I completed the assignment sheet for the 10th graders’ Glogster: Glogster Assignment and included the relevant standards, an explanation, the requirements, an example I created, and a rubric. For your convenience, here is my sample. (Don’t judge.)

I was thinking of this today: what if we all collaborated to create training modules that teachers can complete on their own and earn badges or certifications?
That way, you wouldn’t have to continually repeat all the same information at every session, you would never forget any information or details, everyone would be consistently trained, we could immediately include the latest information and updates, it would be there for brand new teachers or teachers whose schedules could not accommodate training, and we could have a bank of resources for teachers that they could refer back to as needed.
Is this feasible?
So, lots of new ideas are popping into my head.
